Göteborgs Rapé Kardus Winter 2019 is the culmination of a fruitful collaboration between the Gothenburg based chef Stefan Karlsson and Swedish Match’s master blender Lars Öberg. They have together made a snus that builds upon the foundation of the classic Göteborgs Rapé Loose. A snus famous and beloved by many for its well-rounded tobacco character topped with hints of lavender and juniper. A flavor combination that draws its influences from the Swedish forest. Influences that suited Stefan’s experience of using flavors from the local flora in the kitchen and Lars’ vast knowledge about tobacco and snus perfectly. Their goal was to make something hearty and robust which resulted in a snus with a rich and sharp flavor profile. They’ve put together a loose snus with a medium dark tobacco character topped hints and nuances of evergreen trees, lavender, herbs and dried fruits. The aromas and tobacco used for this Kardus snus have been carefully selected in order to guarantee highest quality and the best snus experience possible.
Göteborgs Rapé Kardus Winter 2019 comes packed inside glass containers made by Orrefors, one of Scandinavia’s leading glass manufacturer. These containers have been handblown by skilled craftsmen and each one of them got a signature and serial number engraved into the glass. Details like these makes each container unique and a work of art that combines two proud Swedish traditions; glass blowing and snus craftmanship.
