How old must I be to order at BuySnus.com?

You’re welcome to order even a single can of snus—no minimum required.

I don't see my country in your delivery list. Does that mean you don't deliver to that country?

Unfortunately, if your desired destination country is not on our list of countries, we’re unable to deliver there.

Does BuySnus.com have a physical store where I can buy Swedish Snus?

No, we only sell snus, nicotine pouches and our other products online. At the BuySnus.com online store you’ll find a big selection of Swedish Snus, tobacco-free snus and nicotine-free snus available at low prices that we ship worldwide.

An error occurred when I tried to pay with my credit- or debit card, what could be wrong?

Please check that the card you have used is either a VISA or Mastercard, that it’s not past its expiration date, that it has sufficient funds to complete the purchase and that it’s not a VISA Electron Card. Verify that the card information that you have entered is correct. If an error occurs even though you’re using the right type of card and have entered the correct card information, it could be a technical error that has occurred due to disturbances at one of the institutional servers involved. I haven't received my order confirmation with instructions on how to complete my bank transfer, what could have gone wrong?

If you haven’t received an order confirmation with the details needed to complete the bank transfer, please contact us at info@buysnus.com and we will resend the order confirmation to your registered e-mail address.

The reason why you haven’t received the order confirmation could be one of several reasons. Please check that the e-mail address you have registered at BuySnus.com is correct, if not please update it as soon as possible. Other possible reasons behind this issue might be that your e-mail server was down when we sent you the e-mail. You should also check that the order confirmation hasn’t been marked as SPAM. In some cases, if you have limited e-mail storage it might have reached its limit, and it couldn’t store the order confirmation sent from us.

Shipping

How does the shipping process work at BuySnus.com?

When you've placed and confirmed your order at BuySnus.com you’ll receive an order confirmation that we'll send to your registered e-mail address with detailed information about your order. Most orders are processed, packed and shipped from our warehouse within 24 hours (on business days, Mon – Fri).

Once your package has left our distribution center and entered the shipping process, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation that we'll send to your registered e-mail address.

The delivery time of your order varies depending on which shipping alternative you choose at the checkout, and to which country it’s shipped to. The estimated delivery times for shipments with the Swedish Postal Service within Europe are 2-5 business days, 3-7 business days to the U.S and 7-14 business days to other countries.

It’s important that the details of your shipping address are correct before placing your order. BuySnus.com is not responsible for orders that don’t reach you because of incorrect or missing address information.

  • Next day delivery by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon to some addresses in Europe.
  • Second business day delivery by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon to most business addresses in North America.
  • Second business day delivery by the end of the day to many other international locations.
  • Second or third business day delivery by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon to selected areas in Asia.



UPS Express Saver
Estimated delivery times:

  • Next business day delivery during the day to some European business centers.
  • End of second business day delivery to most business addresses in North America.
  • Delivery during the day within two to three business days to selected areas in Asia.
  • Day-definite delivery during the day to other countries worldwide.

 

Will the shipping cost be specified when I place my order?

The shipping cost for your order will be visible at the checkout. The shipping cost updates automatically if you add or remove products from your shopping cart. The shipping cost for your order is always included in the total price, and it’s clearly shown before you confirm your purchase.

Additional fees such as customs duty, taxes and other fees may be charged to your order depending on the country of destination. You, the customer, are responsible for paying those fees.

Can I track my order?

Yes, but it’s only possible if you have selected one of UPS’s shipping alternatives. It’s not possible to track orders shipped by the Swedish Postal Service since these consignments don’t have any tracking or reference numbers.

My order

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, it’s possible to cancel your order if it has not entered the shipping process. Once your consignment has left our distribution center, it’s no longer possible to cancel your order.

To cancel your order, contact us via our contact form or by sending us an e-mail at info@buysnus.com. We will then check the status of the order and cancel it if possible.

PLEASE NOTE: It’s very important that you do so as soon as possible since most of our orders enter the shipping process very quickly.

Can I make changes to my order after I've placed it?

It’s only possible to make changes to an already paid order if it has not yet entered the shipping process. If you paid using credit card, we can’t debit your card beyond the amount that was authorized upon order placement. Changes resulting in a higher order value are therefore not possible if it was paid for by credit card.

PLEASE NOTE: Most orders at BuySnus.com enter the shipping process very quickly. If you wish to make changes to your order, please contact us immediately. Either via our contact form or by sending us an e-mail at info@buysnus.com. When we have received your message, we will check the status of your order and do our best to fulfill your request.

How do I update my address?

To change your registered delivery address, log in on your BuySnus-account and update your address at “My Account – Address book”.

Can I change the delivery address for an already placed order?

If you have already placed an order and would like to change the delivery address of that order, please contact us at info@buysnus.com or via our contact form immediately. We’re not always able to change the delivery address for your order, and if it has entered the shipping process, we can’t change it.

It’s very important that you double-check that your delivery address is correct and complete before placing your order.

What happens if I'm not at home to collect my delivery?

If you’re not home to collect and sign for your package, or if it doesn’t fit inside your post box, the shipping agent will notify you that you must pick up the package at the post office or a pick-up place.

I haven't received an order- or shipping confirmation, why?

There could be various reasons why you haven’t received your order- or shipping confirmation. The first thing that you should check is that the e-mail address you have registered at BuySnus.com is correct. If it’s incorrect, please update it right away. Contact us at info@buysnus.com and we’ll resend your order- or shipping confirmation.

Other reasons behind this issue could be that your e-mail server was down when we sent you the e-mail. You should also check that the e-mail hasn’t been flagged as SPAM. If you have an e-mail storage limit, the limited quota might have been reached and you didn’t receive the e-mail due to this reason.

I haven't received my order shipped by the Swedish post, how come?

We are very sorry that you still haven’t received your package. The delivery time depends on the Swedish Postal Service and the postal service in the destination country. The delivery times are estimations and can vary from time to time. In some cases, an order can be delayed if it is held in customs for a while.

The estimated delivery times for orders shipped with the Swedish Postal Service are 2-5 business days within Europe and 7-14 working days to other countries. In our experience, most orders arrive at their destination within the time frames mentioned above.

It’s very important that you have entered the correct delivery address when you place your order. The address is used exactly in the way you entered it when submitting your order. BuySnus.com is not responsible for orders that don't reach their intended destination due to incorrect or missing information.

Returns

Since snus, nicotine pouches, nicotine free snus, other smokeless tobacco products and our candy are perishable they can’t be sold again after they’ve been shipped once. Due to this reason, BuySnus.com doesn’t accept any products returns. This policy applies to orders where you by mistake have ordered the wrong product(s) or if you have changed your mind after your order has entered the shipping process.

I have received wrong/damaged products, what should I do?

The first thing you always should do upon receipt of your package is to check and confirm that you have received the right product(s), the right quantity and that they’re not damaged in any way. If you have received wrong product(s) or if they’re damaged, defective or wrong quantity, you must notify us within 10 days upon the receipt of your order at info@buysnus.com. Request sent to BuySnus.com after this time period will not be considered valid.

BuySnus.com will not replace products if you have by mistake ordered the wrong product(s) or if there is any damage or loss that has been caused by something that is out of our control.

If your claim is valid, we will send replacement product(s). You should also make a claim at the post office or directly to UPS if you have selected one of its services as your shipping alternative and you have received a damaged package.

Availability of goods

What happens if something that I ordered is out of stock?

If BuySnus.com has insufficient stock for the products you have ordered, we will notify you as soon as possible. Either through the shipping confirmation if we have sent a part of your order, or by e-mail to the e-mail address you have registered at BuySnus.com. Please note that if your order has been divided into several packages (which will be written in your order- and shipping confirmation) it’s possible that some packages might be separated during the shipping process and will arrive at different times.

We endeavor to give our customers the best value we can by running special offers, but sometimes stocks are limited for these products, and subject to availability. We update our website quickly and regularly to minimize issues and disappointments.

What is the 6th roll concept?

What is a "Surprise can"?

When you order 10 or more cans of either snus or nicotine pouches at BuySnus.com, you’ll see an alternative called “Surprise can” in your shopping cart. Our “Surprise can”-reward gives you the option to add an extra can to your order for free. The type of snus or nicotine pouches you can choose from as your surprise can is based on what type of snus or nicotine pouches you currently have in your shopping cart. 

Pick the type of snus or nicotine pouches that you want as your surprise can, proceed to the checkout and voilà, an extra can has been added to your order free of charge!

What can you tell me about duties, taxes and customs?

If you order products for international delivery, please note that your consignment may be subjected to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods have reached the country of destination. Any charges of this kind levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you.

Some countries have regulations or restrictions regarding the import quantity of imported smokeless tobacco- or nicotine products, and different countries have varied duty regulations. BuySnus.com doesn’t have the possibility to provide information regarding customs and import regulation in the destination country. The customer who ordered the goods is therefore personally responsible for being informed about its country’s customs and imports regulation that apply to Swedish snus and other nicotine products, and for paying any duties, taxes or extra fees that might be charged. BuySnus.com is not liable for releasing or shipping replacement products if they are seized by customs authorities. You can’t get a refund if your products have been returned to us.

PLEASE NOTE: Your consignment might be subjected to inspection and may be opened by customs authorities, which can cause delays. You’re deemed the importer of the good and must comply with all laws and regulations in the country of destination.

How does BuySnus.com handle my personal data?

Your privacy is very important to us, and your personal data will be treated with the utmost care. We use your information to process your order as efficiently as possible. It will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent. To ensure fast and smooth processing of your order, some parts of your data (contact details) are passed on to our service partners. These partners are e.g. the commissioned transport company or bank. However, the amount of data provided by us is limited to the absolute minimum needed to complete the requested service.

Is the snus at BuySnus.com fresh?

We receive deliveries from manufacturers several times per week, which ensures that the snus we sell are as fresh as they can be. 

Why can't I order American snuff/American dip at BuySnus.com?

We are sorry to inform you that we only sell Swedish snus, nicotine pouches, nicotine-free snus and Swedish candy since neither American snuff nor American dip is available on the Swedish market. The moist snuff products of Swedish Match America are only sold throughout the U.S. 

What can you tell me about the shelf life of snus?

There are many parameters that can affect the durability and longevity of snus. We recommend that you store your snus in a dark and cold place. Snus is perishable and if the can hasn’t been opened, it’s best to store the snus in a refrigerator. If you store your snus correctly the shelf life for loose snus is about 14 weeks, portion snus 20 weeks and white dry portions about 30 weeks. Nicotine pouches have an even longer shelf life, up to 50 weeks.

If you don’t plan on using your snus right away, you can freeze it if the can hasn’t been opened. You can store snus for up to 12 months in your freezer, and we recommend that you place your snus cans inside zip-lock bags or vacuum pack them if you’re planning on using this method. Before using the snus, thaw it at room temperature. If it’s loose snus, let it thaw in your fridge first since the condensation can have a negative impact on the can’s cardboard material. This however won’t be a problem with portion snus since their cans are made of plastic.

Force majeure

BuySnus.com is not liable to refund or ship replacement products in the case of failed delivery, delays or damages caused by events or circumstances beyond our control.
