How does the shipping process work at BuySnus.com?

When you have placed an order at BuySnus.com you’ll receive an order confirmation sent to the e-mail address you’ve registered that contains detailed information about your order. Most orders are packed and sent within 24 hours (on business days, Monday-Friday). We will send your goods in one or several parcels based on what you’ve ordered. The snus will be packed in a secure environment. Orders up to 4 rolls (40 cans) are usually packed and shipped in padded envelopes that will protect the snus against potential damage during transit. The envelopes are light and won’t add any extra shipping cost based on weight. Order shipped with UPS can also be sent in cardboard boxes depending on your order quantity.

Once your order has left our distribution center and has entered the shipping process, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation sent to the e-mail address you registered when placing the order.

The delivery time depends on the shipping alternative of your choice and to which country the package is shipped to. The estimated delivery times for shipments with The Swedish Postal service are 2-5 business days within Europe, 3-7 business days to the U.S and 7-14 business days to other countries. Orders that are shipped with UPS have tracking numbers which you can use to track your order and see the preliminary delivery date. Will the shipping cost be specified when I order from BuySnus.com?

You can see the delivery cost for your order at the checkout. The shipping cost will update automatically when you add or remove products from the shopping cart. The shipping cost for your order is always included in the total price, and it will be clearly shown before you complete your purchase.

Additional fees such as customs duty, taxes and other fees may be charged to your order depending on country of destination and you, the customer, are responsible for paying those fees. You are always accountable for complying with the customs regulations in your country.

Shipping alternatives available at BuySnus.com

Please make sure that the details of your shipping address are correct before placing your order. BuySnus.com is not responsible for orders that don’t reach you because of incorrect or missing information.

At BuySnus you can choose from different shipping alternatives, UPS and The Swedish Postal Service. The different shipping alternatives and the shipping cost are presented during the checkout process.

PLEASE NOTE: In some countries it’s not possible to ship orders with UPS at all or only with some of the UPS alternatives.

The Swedish Postal Service - 1st priority letter

If some of the snus you have ordered are out of stock, partial deliveries are sent. BuySnus will not compensate for any confiscated or missing deliveries if you have selected the Swedish Postal Service as shipping alternative. Packages sent with the Swedish Postal Service don’t bear any tracking number or reference number which makes it impossible for us to search for your order once it has left our warehouse. BuySnus.com can’t therefore take any responsibility for your shipment.

  • Europe – 2-5 business days.
  • Other countries – 7-14 business days.

 

UPS

UPS international delivery dates and times are for door-to-door service including customs clearance. Certain commodities and high-value shipments may require additional transit time for customs clearance. Shipments to some remote areas may require additional delivery days. Rates do not include charges for customs clearance. Customs brokerage charges, duties and taxes will be billed to the importer unless otherwise indicated by the shipping agent.

PLEASE NOTE: Depending on your country, UPS might require an “Adult 21” signature. This means that the receiver of the package must be 21 years of age or older to sign for the package.

UPS Express

Get guaranteed next morning delivery across Europe and fast delivery worldwide.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Next day delivery by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon to some addresses in Europe.
  • Second business day delivery by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon to most business addresses in North America.
  • Second business day delivery by the end of the day to other international locations.
  • Second or third business day delivery by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon to selected areas in Asia.

Benefits: Guaranteed delivery for peace of mind and an ideal choice for urgent shipments that must arrive during the morning.

UPS Express Saver

Rely on guaranteed delivery during the next business day across Europe and fast delivery worldwide.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Next business day delivery during the day to some European business centers.
  • End of second business day delivery to most business addresses in North America.
  • Delivery during the day within two to three business days to selected areas in Asia.
  • Day-definite delivery during the day to other countries worldwide.

 

Service area: More than 215 countries and territories.
Benefits: Guaranteed delivery during the day for peace of mind and economical alternative to UPS’s Express service for fast delivery.

Can I track my shipment?

Yes, but only if you have picked UPS as your shipping alternative. Unfortunately, you cannot track your order with The Swedish Postal Service since these shipments don't have a tracking- or reference number.

Returns

Since the snus, nicotine pouches, other smokeless tobacco products and candy sold at BuySnus.com are perishable products and can’t be sold again after they’ve been shipped once, we don’t accept any product returns. This policy applies to orders where you by mistake have ordered the wrong product(s), and in cases where you have changed your mind after your order has entered the shipping process.

I have received the wrong or a damaged product

The first thing you always should do is to check the content of your package immediately upon receipt. Make sure that you have received the products you have ordered and that they’re not damaged in any way. If the products you’ve received are not the ones you have ordered, if you haven’t received the right quantity or if a product is damaged/defective, you must inform us within 10 business days upon receipt. Reclamation requests sent to us after this window of time will not be considered valid.

In cases where the claim is valid, we’ll replace or refund the product(s) in question. You should also make a claim for any damages at your local post office or to UPS upon receipt of a damaged package.

Can I change my delivery address?

To change your delivery address, log in on your BuySnus-account and update your address at “My Account – Address Book”.

If you have already placed an order and would like to change the address for that order, please contact us via e-mail as soon as possible at info@buysnus.com or by using our contact form here. We’re not always able to change the address before it has entered the shipping process, and when it has left our warehouse, we can’t change it. It’s therefore very important that you double-check that your delivery address is correct before placing your order.

Can I make changes to my order?

Making changes to an already paid order is only possible if your order has not entered the shipping process. We can’t debit your credit card beyond the amount that was authorized upon order placement. Changes resulting in a higher order value are not possible if the order was paid for by card.

PLEASE NOTE: Most orders at BuySnus.com enter the shipping process very quickly. If you want to make changes to your order, please contact us via our contact form here or via e-mail at info@buysnus.com as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to fulfill your request.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you can cancel your order if it has not entered the shipping process. If it has entered the shipping process and the package has left our warehouse, then it’s no longer possible to cancel the order. 

To cancel your order, you need to contact us immediately here, or by sending us an e-mail at info@buysnus.com. We will then check the status of your order and cancel it if possible.

What happens if I'm not at home to collect my shipment?

If you’re not home to pick up and sign for your package or if it doesn’t fit in your post box, you’ll be notified by the shipping agent that you must pick up the package at the post office or at a pick-up place.

Regulations and customs charges

Age verification

To place an order at BuySnus.com, you must be at least 18 years of age (or older if required by local laws). We do not sell our products to minors. Please note that some countries require an adult signature, with “Adult 21” being the only option, and in those cases the minimum age for signing may be higher than the legal age to purchase the product. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with local age restrictions.

Since we only sell products to 18+ (or 19/21 depending on local laws) BuySnus checks and verifies your age when you place an order using IDology. You can read more about IDology and its services by visiting their website here.

Duties, taxes and customs

If you’re ordering goods for international delivery, please note that your consignment may be subjected to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you.

Some countries have regulations and restrictions regarding quantity of imported smokeless tobacco products, and different countries have their own duty regulations. BuySnus.com doesn’t have the possibility to provide information about customs and import regulations in the destination country. The person (i.e. the importer) who orders the products is therefore personally responsible for being informed about the country’s customs and import regulations regarding Swedish snus and other tobacco/nicotine products, and for paying any duties, taxes and fees that might be charged. Any charges from import clearance due to the purchase from BuySnus.com will be borne by you, the importer. BuySnus.com is not liable for releasing or shipping replacement goods if they are seized by customs authorities. You can’t get a refund if your products have been returned to us.

PLEASE NOTE: Your shipment may be subjected to opening and inspection by customs authorities. You’re deemed the importer of the goods and must therefore comply with all the laws and regulations of the country the goods are being imported to.
