Helping out my dad

I first discovered snus via a show on the History channel about tobacco. I decided to do some research online, as I had been looking for a way to get off cigarettes. After doing a lot of reading on the product, and the low TSNA levels in snus, I decided to give it a try. So, I ordered a roll of the mix from buysnus.com, and counted the days till it came.

I was pleasantly surprised at the taste, and nicotine hit of this fine Swedish secret. Plus, there was the bonus of no longer craving a cigarette. Now, my dad has been a smoker since he was about 15, he is now 61. Ever since a heart-attack 10 years ago, he has been struggling with his pack-a-day habit. He has tried everything from nicotine gum, to the patch, even drug therapy, but nothing seemed to work. So, once I had been off smoking for about a week, I decided to tell him about snus. We have now both been smoke-free for over eight months, and both feel much healthier.

This may not be a story about a night at a bar with a can of snus and the crazy time that ensued, but it means a lot to me to know that my Dad is healthier.
