My First Snus

I was 17 of age the day my friend called me and asked me if I wanted to come over to his house. He was having a little get-together with some common friends and for some reason they also wanted me there. When I arrived I received the usual "Guy hugs" and "Girl hugs" and started to mingle with the crowd.

I met up with my best friend Erik and we decided we wanted to play a game of pool. As we went down there, my friend martin and another guy were already using the pool table and we figured "This won't take long at all". We were wrong.

Half an hour later with swearing and shouting from both Martin and the other guy, we decided to go upstairs instead and raincheck the game. As we hit the stairs, I saw Martins snusbox and the oddest thought came to me. I had never really approved of Martins snusing, but then again, it might be some reason that he did it, maybe the fact that it was good?

So I beefed up and went back to the pool table and asked "Is that general portion?" He nodded and asked if I'd tried it before. out of pure male nature I replied "Of Course m'man" and he gave me the box. I remember how my heart was beating when I opened the box and stared on the portions, just lying there, waiting to be put under my lip. I took one, very nonchalant and placed it under my lip. Kinda weird I thought but ok. I gave Martin his box back and went upside. After a few minutes of talking to Erik I felt strange, in a good kind of way. I was feeling dizzy and light headed and it felt so good I almost thought I was drunk. The only thing was, the feeling didn't go away when I took the snus out later, and remained with me on my way home. I thought something was seriously wrong and felt scared. The next day I woke up and thought to myself that snusing would only be a party thing.

Three weeks after my 18th birthday I was invited to a party. My thoughts went directly to snus. Should I do it there? I hadn't taken one since my first one two months ago and I was still a little scared of it, but then I figured "why the hell not?" and I went to the store and bought me my own snusbox.

Ever since that party, I always walk around with a snusbox in my pocket. I love the dizzy feeling you get when the nicotine collides with your blood, and I have no intention at all of quitting in the close future.
